Overview
Omapplusone is a total parenteral nutrition (TPN) product developed by HK inno.N. It is a three-chamber bag (3CB) system designed to provide essential nutrients to patients who cannot receive adequate nutrition through oral or enteral routes. The formulation is an upgraded version of the company's Omap product, containing a lipid emulsion (a blend of soybean oil, medium-chain triglycerides, olive oil, and fish oil rich in omega-3 fatty acids), amino acids, glucose, and electrolytes. The plusone designation signifies the addition of zinc (as zinc gluconate) to the formulation, addressing the common clinical need for trace element supplementation in patients receiving long-term parenteral nutrition. It is available in formulations for both central (Omapplusone Inj) and peripheral (Omapplusone Peri Inj) venous administration.
