Overview

OMED-3 is a preclinical-stage antibody-based therapeutic candidate being developed by Onena Medicines for the treatment of obesity and diabetes. It is part of a pipeline of medicines designed to target Dual Secreted Inhibitory Proteins (DSIPs), a proprietary class of secreted proteins identified by Onena that regulate metabolic and growth signaling pathways. OMED-3 specifically targets DSIP#3 to modulate metabolic processes associated with weight management and glucose regulation. By neutralizing this secreted factor, the drug aims to restore or enhance metabolic signaling that is disrupted in metabolic diseases.
