Overview

OMP12 is a synthetic peptide vaccine candidate developed by Enterome as part of its OncoMimics platform. It is a microbiome-derived peptide that mimics the tumor-associated antigen (TAA) Interleukin-13 receptor subunit alpha-2 (IL13Ra2). OMP12 is designed to activate memory T-cells originally generated against microbiome antigens, redirecting them to recognize and eliminate cancer cells that overexpress IL13Ra2. It is a primary constituent of the therapeutic vaccine cocktail **EO4010**, which also includes mimics of BIRC5 (Survivin) and FOXM1. EO4010 is currently in clinical development for the treatment of metastatic colorectal adenocarcinoma, specifically targeting patients with mismatch repair proficient (pMMR) and microsatellite stable (MSS) disease. The therapy is typically administered subcutaneously in combination with an adjuvant (such as Montanide ISA 51 VG) and often alongside a checkpoint inhibitor like nivolumab.
