Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OMTX305 is a preclinical-stage bispecific, trivalent Fab-eIg (antigen-binding fragment engineered immunoglobulin) T-cell engager (TCE) developed by Oncomatryx in collaboration with the University of Stuttgart. It is designed to target fibroblast activation protein (FAP) expressed on cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) in the tumor microenvironment, and CD3 on T cells. By bridging T cells and FAP-expressing stromal fibroblasts, OMTX305 redirects T cells to destroy these fibroblasts, induces interferon responses and extracellular matrix remodeling, and triggers bystander killing of adjacent tumor cells. It has demonstrated preclinical efficacy in patient-derived ex vivo models of solid tumors, including precision-cut tumor slices (PCTSs) of lung and ovarian cancer.
