ONC-818

ONC-818 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by OncoC4 for the treatment of solid tumors. It targets CD24 (Signal transducer CD24), a glycosylphosphatidylinositol (GPI)-anchored membrane protein that is frequently overexpressed in various human cancers and serves as a 'don't eat me' signal to evade immune surveillance. The ADC is designed to bind specifically to CD24 on the surface of tumor cells, undergo internalization, and release a cytotoxic payload to induce cell death. ONC-818 utilizes OncoC4's proprietary antibody technology, which may include pH-sensitive binding to optimize delivery and reduce off-target toxicity. As of 2024, the program is in Phase 1 clinical development.
