ONC-PluReceptor NK cells are an investigational, off-the-shelf cell therapy consisting of natural killer (NK) cells derived from a proprietary induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) platform. Developed by Oncternal Therapeutics using their PluReceptor™ technology, these cells are engineered to provide a standardized and scalable source of effector cells for cancer immunotherapy. The PluReceptor platform is designed to enhance the innate anti-tumor activity of NK cells, potentially improving their potency, persistence, and expansion compared to primary NK cells. In clinical development, specifically in collaboration with M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, these cells are being evaluated in combination with the bispecific antibody epcoritamab (targeting CD3 and CD20) and the monoclonal antibody tafasitamab (targeting CD19) for the treatment of relapsed or refractory B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma (B-NHL). This combination strategy leverages the NK cells to perform antibody-dependent cellular cytotoxicity (ADCC) against CD19 and CD20-expressing malignant B-cells.
