Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Onco-Rash is a topical cosmetic cream developed by Hospices Civils de Lyon to mitigate skin toxicities, such as rashes and epidermal fragilization, in patients receiving anti-EGFR (Epidermal Growth Factor Receptor) cancer therapies. These therapies, commonly used for non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colorectal cancer, and head and neck cancer, often cause dermatological side effects that can lead to treatment interruption. Onco-Rash is designed to preserve skin integrity, improve patient quality of life, and facilitate adherence to primary oncological treatments. It was evaluated in the OPERA clinical trial against a neutral control cream (Onco-Neutre).
