**OncoSil + gemcitabine** is a combination therapy used for the treatment of patients with *locally advanced unresectable pancreatic cancer*. It consists of **OncoSil**, a device that enables the direct intratumoural placement of phosphorus-32 (32P) microparticles—a form of radiation brachytherapy—and **gemcitabine**, a nucleoside analog chemotherapy agent. OncoSil is designed to deliver a targeted dose of beta radiation directly into the pancreatic tumor, causing DNA damage to cancer cells and inhibiting their division and proliferation, thereby enhancing local tumor control.
