Ond-PR1

Ond-PR1 is a pulsatile-release oral formulation of ondansetron, developed to deliver the antiemetic agent in a controlled manner. Ondansetron is a selective serotonin 5-HT3 receptor antagonist that works by blocking the action of serotonin, a natural substance that can cause nausea and vomiting. The primary indication for ondansetron and its formulations is the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with cancer chemotherapy, radiation therapy, and surgery. In at least one clinical study (NCT01290276), Ond-PR1 was administered as an 8 mg single oral dose in combination with methylphenidate immediate release to healthy volunteers[1][3].
