Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Onfyte (also marketed as Onfyte Lotion) is a multi-action topical veterinary formulation developed by Percos India under its Aranex Animal Health division for the treatment of mixed dermatological infections in companion animals, including dogs and cats. The lotion is co-formulated with five active ingredients: clobetasol propionate (a potent corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and itching), ofloxacin and neomycin sulphate (broad-spectrum antibiotics targeting bacterial pathogens), miconazole nitrate (an antifungal agent active against yeasts and dermatophytes), and zinc sulphate (which acts as a soothing agent and promotes wound healing). Onfyte is primarily indicated for eczematous dermatosis complicated by bacterial and fungal infections, otitis externa, pyoderma, ringworm, and infected external wounds.
