Drug intelligence / Profile preview
oNKo-038 is a preclinical CAR-NK cell therapy being developed by oNKo-innate for the treatment of cancer, specifically neoplasms. It represents an intracellular checkpoint target in orthogonal cytokine pathways, identified through CRISPR screening of primary human NK cells. The drug involves novel genetic edits designed to enhance the fitness and anti-tumor function of CAR-NK cells, particularly under conditions of repetitive antigen stimulation and immunosuppression. When paired with another candidate (oNKo-046), these edits have shown to significantly improve CAR-NK cell function[1][2][3].
