Overview

ONKT106 is an investigational, engineered natural killer (NK) cell therapy developed by ONK Therapeutics. This therapy involves gene-editing NK cells to enhance their cytotoxic potential, metabolic health, and persistence within the tumor microenvironment. Specifically, ONKT106 utilizes CISH (Cytokine-inducible SH2-containing protein) knockout technology, licensed from WEHI, to improve NK cell function. It is being developed for the treatment of various cancers, including blood cancers such as multiple myeloma and acute myeloid leukemia (AML), as well as solid tumors like ovarian, breast, and non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
