Overview

ONS-1050 is a biosimilar to Herceptin (trastuzumab), a monoclonal antibody. It was developed by Oncobiologics (now Outlook Therapeutics) utilizing Selexis expression technology for its manufacturing. Oncobiologics secured perpetual, non-exclusive, worldwide commercial licenses from Selexis for ONS-1050. A collaboration with IPCA Laboratories granted IPCA a non-exclusive license for ONS-1050 in India and nearby countries, with Oncobiologics eligible for development payments, commercialization fees, and royalties on sales in these territories.
