Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ONT-10 is a completely synthetic, third-generation MUC1-based liposome glycolipopeptide cancer vaccine developed to target MUC1, a tumor-associated antigen present on many types of human malignant tumors including lung, breast, colorectal, prostate and ovarian cancers. The vaccine is designed to stimulate both humoral and cellular immune responses against MUC1-expressing tumors. Its adjuvant component PET-Lipid A acts as a toll-like receptor 4 (TLR4) agonist with enhanced potency compared to monophosphoryl lipid A (MPL). Preclinical studies demonstrated robust antibody and cellular immune responses specific for human tumor MUC1.
