Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ONT-10 + varlilumab is an investigational combination therapy for cancer, specifically evaluated in advanced breast and ovarian cancer. ONT-10 is a therapeutic vaccine targeting the tumor-associated antigen MUC1, designed to stimulate immune responses against MUC1-expressing tumors. Varlilumab (CDX-1127) is a fully human monoclonal antibody that targets CD27 receptor, a costimulatory molecule on T cells critical for their activation and proliferation. By combining these agents, the therapy aims to enhance anti-tumor immunity through both vaccination against MUC1 and T-cell activation via CD27 receptor agonism. The combination has been studied in Phase 1b clinical trials to assess safety, tolerability, immune response modulation, and anti-tumor effects[2][5][6].
