Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OPA948-1 is an investigational antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) developed by Serilink Biotechnology, targeting Trophoblast cell-surface antigen 2 (TROP2). TROP2 is a cell-surface glycoprotein that is highly expressed in various epithelial cancers, including breast, lung, and gastrointestinal malignancies, while showing limited expression in normal tissues. OPA948-1 is constructed using Serilink's proprietary site-specific conjugation technology, which aims to produce a homogeneous drug-antibody ratio (DAR) and enhance the stability of the conjugate in circulation. This approach is intended to optimize the delivery of the cytotoxic payload to tumor cells, thereby maximizing therapeutic efficacy and minimizing systemic toxicity. The drug is currently in the preclinical stage of development for the treatment of advanced solid tumors.
