**OPF-501C** is an investigational topical zinc chloride-based treatment developed by Otsuka Pharmaceutical Factory for local control of oozing bleeding associated with cancerous skin ulcers. It was evaluated in a multicenter, open-label, uncontrolled Phase II exploratory study in Japan, in which topical application was associated with immediate suppression of oozing bleeding; the study was completed in May 2024.
