Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OPL-0301 is a biased sphingosine 1-phosphate receptor 1 (S1P₁) agonist developed by Valo Health for the treatment of cardiovascular conditions, specifically post-myocardial infarction left ventricular dysfunction. The drug aims to reduce infarct size and improve heart function following a heart attack by targeting vascular and endothelial dysfunction and inflammation through S1P₁ receptor agonism. It was investigated as an oral small molecule therapy but development has been discontinued[2][3][7].
