Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OpsiProst is an investigational ocular drug delivery product being developed by OpsiRx Pharmaceuticals that is designed to provide a long-duration formulation of a prost-based (likely prostaglandin-analog) therapy for ophthalmic use, such as in glaucoma or other chronic eye conditions requiring sustained intraocular pressure control.[9][14] It is part of OpsiRx’s portfolio of extended-release ocular products that use proprietary drug delivery technology to achieve prolonged therapeutic levels in the eye, with the goal of reducing dosing frequency and improving patient adherence compared with conventional eye-drop formulations.[9] Detailed molecular composition, specific active ingredient, and precise mechanism of action have not yet been publicly disclosed.
