OPSP1 (NK + BCMA) is a preclinical-stage, bispecific natural killer (NK) cell engager developed by Oncopeptides AB using its proprietary SPiKE (Small Polypeptide based innate Killer Engagers) platform. The drug is an affibody-derived small polypeptide construct designed to simultaneously target CD16a on NK cells and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) on multiple myeloma cells. By bridging these two targets, OPSP1 recruits and activates NK cells to induce the targeted lysis of BCMA-expressing tumor cells. It is being developed for the treatment of relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma, with the aim of providing a potent anti-tumor response while minimizing the risk of cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity often associated with T-cell-directed therapies.
