Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OQR200 is a preclinical therapeutic cancer vaccine developed by OncoQR ML GmbH for the treatment of HER2/neu-positive breast cancer. Utilizing the proprietary S-TIR™ (Specific Total Immune Remodeler) technology platform, OQR200 is designed as an active immunotherapy that induces a potent polyclonal antibody response against multiple epitopes of the HER2/neu protein, including those targeted by existing monoclonal antibody therapies like trastuzumab and pertuzumab. In addition to the humoral response, the vaccine stimulates cellular immunity by activating both helper and cytotoxic T-cells. Preclinical studies in non-human primates have demonstrated its ability to overcome immune tolerance to the HER2/neu self-antigen with a reversible and adjustable immune response.
