Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Orabro Gel is a topical combination gel developed by Canbro Healthcare for the temporary relief of pain, inflammation, and discomfort associated with mouth ulcers, gum irritation, and denture-related soreness. It is formulated with three active ingredients: choline salicylate (8.7%), a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that reduces localized inflammation and pain by inhibiting cyclooxygenase (COX) enzymes; lignocaine hydrochloride (2.0%), a local anesthetic that provides rapid, localized numbing by blocking voltage-gated sodium channels; and benzalkonium chloride (0.01%), an antiseptic that helps maintain oral hygiene and prevent secondary microbial infections. Orabro Gel is applied directly to the affected oral mucosa to provide fast-acting relief.
