Overview
The oral hexavalent live human-bovine reassortant rotavirus vaccine is a live-attenuated, Vero-cell-produced oral vaccine developed by Wuhan Institute of Biological Products for prevention of infant rotavirus gastroenteritis. It uses a bovine UK-Compton rotavirus backbone reassorted to express human rotavirus VP7 antigens representing G1, G2, G3, G4, G8, and G9 serotypes, inducing protective mucosal and systemic immunity against rotavirus infection.
