Overview
Oral hexavalent reassortant rotavirus vaccine, live, attenuated (Vero cell) is a multivalent vaccine candidate developed by Sinovac (specifically Sinovac Dalian and Sinovac Biotech) for the prevention of rotavirus gastroenteritis in infants. The vaccine is produced using Vero cell technology and contains six reassortant rotavirus strains, designed to provide broad protection against the most prevalent rotavirus serotypes (typically G1, G2, G3, G4, G8, and G9). It is currently in Phase II clinical development in China, where it is being evaluated for safety and immunogenicity in healthy infants aged 6–12 weeks, often in comparison to licensed pentavalent vaccines like Lerduo.
