Oral7

Oral7 is an immunologically active saliva substitute (IASS) range of oral care products, including mouthwash, spray, gel, and toothpaste, developed to manage xerostomia (dry mouth) and radiation-induced mucositis. The formulation contains a combination of natural enzymes—lactoperoxidase, lysozyme, glucose oxidase, and lactoferrin—which are naturally occurring in human saliva and provide essential antimicrobial and protective functions. By supplementing these enzymes, Oral7 helps restore the oral microenvironment, provides long-lasting moisture, and reduces the risk of oral infections and dental caries. It is particularly indicated for patients undergoing radiotherapy for head and neck cancers (such as nasopharyngeal carcinoma), individuals with Sjögren's syndrome, and those suffering from medication-induced hyposalivation.
