Overview
ORAL7 Mouthwash is an enzyme-containing, moisturizing oral rinse designed to mimic the natural protective systems of human saliva. Developed by MBD Marketing SDN. BHD., it contains a combination of naturally derived enzymes, including glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase, and lysozyme, along with the protein lactoferrin. These components provide antimicrobial protection against bacteria, viruses, and fungi while maintaining a neutral pH (pH7) in the oral cavity. The formulation is alcohol-free, menthol-free, and free of sodium lauryl sulphate (SLS), making it suitable for sensitive oral tissues. It is primarily used for the relief of xerostomia (dry mouth) symptoms and has been investigated in clinical trials for its ability to promote wound healing, reduce pain, and improve mouth opening following the surgical removal of impacted mandibular third molars.
