Overview
Oralair is a sublingual immunotherapy tablet containing a standardized mixture of allergen extracts from five grass pollens: Sweet Vernal (Anthoxanthum odoratum), Orchard (Dactylis glomerata), Perennial Rye (Lolium perenne), Timothy (Phleum pratense), and Kentucky Blue Grass (Poa pratensis). It is indicated for the treatment of grass pollen-induced allergic rhinitis with or without conjunctivitis in individuals aged 5 to 65 years who have confirmed sensitivity to any of these grasses. The mechanism involves increasing immunological tolerance to these specific allergens by modulating the immune response upon repeated exposure. Oralair does not provide immediate symptom relief but is used preventively before and during pollen season[1][2][3][4][5].
