Oralgen Grass Pollen

Oralgen Grass Pollen (brand name: Oralgen®) is a sublingual immunotherapy (SLIT) biologic developed by Artu Biologicals for the treatment of grass pollen-induced allergic rhinoconjunctivitis (hay fever). It is formulated as a standardized, glycerinated aqueous extract containing allergens from five specific grass species: *Lolium perenne* (perennial ryegrass), *Phleum pratense* (timothy grass), *Dactylis glomerata* (orchard grass), *Anthoxanthum odoratum* (sweet vernal grass), and *Holcus lanatus* (velvet grass). The product works by desensitizing the patient's immune system through allergen-specific immunotherapy, which modulates the IgE-mediated allergic response. Administration typically involves a 20-day dose escalation phase followed by a long-term maintenance phase (up to 2 years) to achieve sustained clinical benefit and immune tolerance.
