Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Orasalts is a sea salt-based and homeopathically enhanced mouthwash and gargle. It utilizes the natural antibacterial effect of diluted sea salt to target oral pathogens while having minimal impact on the normal oral flora. The formulation also includes homeopathic ingredients such as Arnica, Echinacea, Hepar Sulph, Phosphorus, and Staphysagria, along with herbal extracts like Cinnamon and Liquorice. It works by neutralizing acids and restoring the pH balance in the mouth and throat region. Orasalts is indicated for the relief of puffy bleeding gums, bad breath, gingivitis, periodontitis, viral ulcers, sore throats, and other inflammatory conditions of the mouth and throat. It is free of alcohol, preservatives, sugar, and colorants. Orasalts was formulated in 1997 by Dr. Trevor Wasserman and Dr. Sean Powers.
