Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OraVital Probiotic Rinse is a topical oral health product designed to modulate the oral microbiome and maintain a healthy balance of bacteria following periodontal treatment. Developed by OraVital, it is used as a maintenance therapy for patients with periodontal disease, peri-implantitis, halitosis, and dental caries. The rinse works by introducing beneficial probiotic bacteria that competitively inhibit the growth of pathogenic biofilms, thereby reducing inflammation and preventing the recurrence of oral infections. It is typically used as the final stage of the OraVital System, which begins with biofilm DNA testing and targeted antimicrobial treatment to eliminate pathogens before repopulating the mouth with healthy flora.
