Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ORCA was a preclinical program developed by aTyr Pharma, a biotherapeutics company focused on Physiocrine-based therapeutics. This program aimed to develop antibodies to target a novel, proprietary immuno-oncology pathway, specifically the Resokine pathway, to enhance the immune response in tumor settings. The Resokine pathway is comprised of extracellular proteins derived from the histidyl tRNA synthetase (HARS) gene family. The program was discontinued in May 2018 due to preclinical data not showing sufficient efficacy to warrant further development.
