OriC902 is an investigational autologous chimeric antigen receptor T cell (CAR-T) therapy targeting glypican-3 (GPC3), a protein commonly overexpressed in certain liver cancers. It is being developed for the treatment of advanced hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and other GPC3-positive neoplasms. The therapy involves engineering a patient's own T cells to express a CAR that recognizes and binds to GPC3 on tumor cells, enabling targeted immune-mediated destruction of cancer cells. OriC902 is currently in Phase 1 clinical trials, with its development led by OriCell Therapeutics.
