Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ORIDROL Spray Orale is an approved medical device developed by Epitech Group SpA, specifically designed for pediatric use to alleviate symptoms associated with the common cold, including pharyngitis, tonsillitis, and cough. The formulation is based on ALIAmides (Autacoid Local Injury Antagonism amides), a class of endogenous lipid molecules that modulate the activity of non-neuronal immune cells, particularly mast cells. By regulating mast cell degranulation and local neuro-inflammation, Oridrol exerts a soothing and anti-inflammatory effect on the oral and respiratory mucosa. It is delivered as a strawberry-flavored aqueous solution via a 20 ml spray bottle for nebulization into the throat.
