Overview

OriV118 is a preclinical-stage in vivo CAR-T cell therapy being developed by OriCell Therapeutics, in partnership with an undisclosed collaborator, for the treatment of multiple myeloma. Unlike traditional ex vivo CAR-T therapies that require complex manufacturing of patient cells outside the body, OriV118 utilizes an in vivo approach to generate CAR-T cells directly within the patient. The therapy is designed to simultaneously target G-protein coupled receptor class C group 5 member D (GPRC5D) and B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA), two well-validated antigens in multiple myeloma. It is currently being investigated for both newly diagnosed and relapsed/refractory multiple myeloma.
