OriV508 is a non-replicative, self-inactivating lentiviral vector-based therapy that carries a dual-target chimeric antigen receptor (CAR) directed against both B-cell maturation antigen (BCMA) and CD19. It is designed for use as CAR-T cell therapy in hematological malignancies, enabling patient T cells to recognize and eliminate cells expressing either BCMA or CD19 antigens.[1] The therapeutic mechanism combines targeting of BCMA (predominantly expressed in multiple myeloma and some other B-cell malignancies) and CD19 (expressed in various B-cell lineage cancers). OriV508 is currently under investigation in clinical trials specifically for relapsed or refractory hematologic malignancies.[1][2][4] The developer is presumed to be OriCell Therapeutics, based on standard clinical trial coding conventions for "OriV" codenamed assets, though this should be verified if further company-specific data become available.
