Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ORK-1 is a first-in-class bi-specific cytokine developed by Orikine Bio using its proprietary Foldikine platform. It is designed to reprogram macrophages to treat Th1-mediated inflammatory conditions. The drug is engineered to deliver dual signals to specific immune cells, allowing for precise control of the immune response. ORK-1 is currently the lead program for Orikine Bio, targeting Inflammatory Bowel Disease (including Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis) and rheumatoid arthritis. It is in the preclinical stage, with IND-enabling studies planned for 2025.
