Drug intelligence / Profile preview
ORK2 is a preclinical-stage bi-specific cytokine being developed by Orikine Bio for the treatment of complex asthma and other Th2-mediated inflammatory diseases. Developed using the proprietary Foldikine™ platform, ORK2 is engineered to precisely reprogram CD4+ T-cells and B-cells. This approach aims to modulate the underlying immune dysregulation characteristic of Th2-driven conditions, potentially offering a more targeted therapeutic profile than conventional cytokine-based treatments. The Foldikine platform utilizes precision-engineered cytokines to achieve specific cellular reprogramming, which in the case of ORK2, focuses on the T-cell and B-cell populations involved in allergic and inflammatory responses.
