Overview

Orlance's ovarian cancer candidate is a preclinical-stage nucleic acid immunotherapy delivered via the proprietary MACH-1 (Microparticle Accelerated Cellular High-delivery) platform. This technology utilizes a needle-free, epidermal powdered gene gun to deliver DNA or RNA-coated gold microparticles directly into the skin's immunologically active epidermal layer. By targeting the abundant antigen-presenting cells in the epidermis, such as Langerhans cells, the therapy aims to induce a robust systemic immune response against ovarian cancer cells. The MACH-1 platform is designed to overcome the delivery challenges associated with traditional nucleic acid therapies, potentially enhancing potency and stability without the need for cold-chain storage.
