Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**Oroxil** is a branded, alcohol- and chlorhexidine-free oral mouthwash developed and manufactured by Logidex. It is a heterogeneous botanical oral-care formulation containing complexed resveratrol and wild-thyme essential oil rich in carvacrol, with menthol and cyclodextrin-based solubilization components. Oroxil is being clinically evaluated by the University of Baghdad as a chemical plaque-control rinse for reducing short-term supragingival dental-plaque biofilm regrowth. Its proposed activity is local antimicrobial, anti-biofilm, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory support in the oral cavity; no specific molecular target has been established for the finished product.
