Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OrthodontiCell is a regenerative medicine platform developed by Leonhardt Ventures (through its startup OrthodontiCell) designed to accelerate orthodontic tooth movement and enhance dental bone remodeling. The therapy utilizes a combination of bioelectronic stimulation and a proprietary biologic composition. The bioelectronic component is engineered to non-invasively modulate the expression of specific signaling proteins, such as RANKL (Receptor Activator of Nuclear Factor kappa-B Ligand) and OPG (Osteoprotegerin), which are essential for the bone resorption and formation processes required for tooth displacement. This is integrated with the delivery of a cell therapy component, typically involving mesenchymal stem cells or other regenerative biologics, to facilitate faster dental alignment and improve the stability of the results.
