Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Osiris is a sublingual allergen immunotherapy (SLIT) liquid formulation developed by ALK-Abelló for the treatment of allergic rhinitis and allergic rhinoconjunctivitis. It is marketed under the brand name Osiris in France and as SLITone or SLIToneULTRA in other European countries. Osiris is available in several formulations targeting different allergens, including a 5-grass-pollen mix (comprising equal parts of *Dactylis glomerata*, *Phleum pratense*, *Lolium perenne*, *Anthoxanthum odoratum*, and *Poa pratensis*), a single grass pollen (*Phleum pratense*), house dust mites (*Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus* and *Dermatophagoides farinae*), and cat dander. The therapy works by delivering standardized allergen extracts sublingually to desensitize the immune system, inducing allergen-specific IgG4 antibodies and IgE-blocking factors to reduce allergic symptoms upon subsequent exposure.
