Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Osnate is a bone health preparation containing ossein mineral complex (also known as microcrystalline hydroxyapatite complex or MCHC) as its active ingredient. Ossein mineral complex is a naturally derived bone extract that provides the organic matrix (ossein, containing collagen and other bone proteins) and mineral components (hydroxyapatite, supplying calcium and phosphorus) in physiological proportions. Unlike isolated calcium salts, this complex mirrors the natural composition of human bone tissue, offering superior bioavailability and physiological utilization. Osnate is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and phosphorus deficiencies, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, bone pain, and increased bone fragility, and is also used as an adjuvant to promote healing in fractures with delayed callus formation.
