Drug intelligence / Profile preview
Osam-D is an oral fixed-dose combination supplement containing ossein mineral complex and cholecalciferol (vitamin D3), developed and marketed by Getz Pharma. Ossein mineral complex is a microcrystalline form of calcium derived from bovine bone that provides calcium, phosphorus, collagen, and other bone-building proteins in physiological proportions. Cholecalciferol is a pre-formed source of vitamin D activity that enhances the intestinal absorption and utilization of calcium and phosphorus. Together, these components work synergistically to support bone mineralization, increase bone density, and promote skeletal health. Osam-D is indicated for the prevention and treatment of calcium and vitamin D deficiencies, osteoporosis, osteomalacia, rickets, bone pain, joint stiffness, and as an adjuvant to accelerate fracture healing.
