Overview
Osseoprime is an autologous cell therapy developed by Regrow Biosciences for the treatment of osteonecrosis (avascular necrosis) of the hip. The product consists of live, cultured osteoblasts derived from the patient's own bone marrow. The therapeutic process involves the isolation, expansion, and subsequent implantation of these bone-forming cells into the necrotic area of the femoral head to stimulate bone regeneration, restore structural integrity, and prevent joint collapse. Osseoprime has received commercial approval in India and is undergoing Phase 1/2 clinical trials in the United States.
