OST-122

OST-122 is an orally administered, gut-restricted small molecule inhibitor that selectively targets Janus kinase 3 (JAK3), tyrosine-protein kinase 2 (TYK2), and NUAK family kinase 1 (ARK5/NUAK1). Developed by Oncostellae, OST-122 is designed for the local treatment of inflammatory bowel diseases, including moderate to severe ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease, as well as fibrotic lesions in Crohn's patients. Its gastrointestinal-restricted pharmacokinetic profile aims to minimize systemic exposure and reduce the risk of systemic toxicities commonly associated with other JAK inhibitors. OST-122 has completed Phase Ib/IIa clinical trials in ulcerative colitis and is also being investigated for colorectal cancer and fibrosis.
