Drug intelligence / Profile preview
OsteGro is an allograft bone matrix product line developed by Aziyo Biologics (now Elutia) designed to support bone repair and fusion in orthopedic, spinal, and dental procedures. The product family includes OsteGro V, a viable bone matrix that preserves native osteoprogenitor cells, and OsteGro Allograft Bone Matrix, a sterile scaffold composed of cancellous particles and demineralized cortical fibers. These products utilize a proprietary processing method to maintain the natural bone's osteoconductive scaffold, osteoinductive growth factors (such as bone morphogenetic proteins), and osteogenic potential. It is commonly employed in spinal fusions, hip reconstructions, and the treatment of complex fractures to promote robust new bone growth.
