Ostenil Plus

**Ostenil Plus** is a TRB Chemedica intra-articular viscosupplement medical device containing 2.0% sodium hyaluronate (40 mg/2 mL) and mannitol. The fermentation-derived, non-animal sodium hyaluronate is injected into a synovial joint to supplement synovial-fluid viscoelasticity and provide symptomatic relief of pain and restricted mobility in osteoarthritis; mannitol acts as a free-radical scavenger intended to protect hyaluronate chains from oxidative depolymerisation.
