Overview

OsteoBiol GTO is a xenogeneic bone grafting biomaterial developed and manufactured by Tecnoss. It is a dual-phase, sticky bone substitute consisting of a mixture of collagenated cortico-cancellous bone granules (porcine/equine origin, 600-1000 µm) and OsteoBiol TSV (Thermally Sensitive Viscoelastic) gel. This combination provides a pre-hydrated, ready-to-use syringe formulation that is easy to apply and stable within the defect site. The material is designed for guided bone regeneration (GBR) in dental and oral surgery, including extraction socket preservation, sinus lifting, and horizontal ridge augmentation. The preserved collagen matrix within the xenogeneic bone facilitates blood clot stabilization and cell invasion, promoting osteoconduction and eventual replacement by native bone tissue.
