Drug intelligence / Profile preview
**OSTEOGROW-B** is a Genera Research investigational bone-regeneration implant for transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion. It comprises recombinant human bone morphogenetic protein 6 delivered in an autologous blood coagulum and enriched with host bone harvested from the patient's spine. BMP6 provides an osteoinductive signal intended to promote new bone formation and accelerate vertebral fusion. Genera Research reports that OSTEOGROW-B was evaluated in a completed multicentre, double-blinded randomized Phase I/II trial in 60 patients undergoing transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion.
