OsteoVive Plus is a moldable, viable cellular bone matrix allograft designed for use in a variety of bone grafting procedures. It is composed of donated human tissue, specifically mineralized and demineralized bone microparticulates combined with viable cells derived from the vertebral body region, which is rich in mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs). The product features Advanced Purloc Fiber Technology, providing a high concentration of elongated cortical fibers with consistent cross-sectional geometry to create a cohesive and moldable allograft for optimal surgical placement. The matrix offers osteoconductive scaffolding, osteoinductive potential due to inherent growth factors in the demineralized component, and osteogenic potential from its reliable cell population. It is processed aseptically using proprietary techniques that exceed FDA and AATB guidelines and uses a DMSO-free polyampholyte-based cryoprotectant to preserve cell viability without requiring decanting prior to use. Intended as a bone void filler for orthopedic applications such as spinal fusion or repair of bony defects[1][2][4].
